    TheRoughBuff monitors trusted Bills and Sabres reporting and identifies when multiple sources are covering the same developing story. This helps separate isolated headlines from developments gaining broader attention.

  2. Add the context

    Current reporting is connected with relevant player and team information—roster status, contracts, player usage, performance trends, team needs, and related historical events when reliable data is available.

  3. Explain what matters

    Structured analytics help evaluate the strength, movement, and potential impact of a story. AI then assists with turning that information into clear, accessible language.

Analytics drive the insight. AI helps communicate it.

Structured software and source-backed data do the measuring. TheRoughBuff does not use AI as an unsupervised source of statistics, probabilities, or facts.

TheRoughBuff is developing a forward-recorded prediction and grading system, RoughBuff Receipts. Eligible predictions would be stored before outcomes are known, evaluated against defined results, and eventually shown as a complete public record after sufficient testing and validation.

This is a developing capability, not a public accuracy product today.
